1994 -ANOTHER CHANGE IN DIRECTION
February - The annual auditions of Music For Youth although the Band were not selected to play in London.
April - Steve Platten takes up the baton as new Musical Director of SYB.
September - Huddersfield &: District Brass Band Association Youth Contest and the Band are placed a very creditable 6th (out of 13). This was a major boost to morale as the competition was extremely stiff.
