1992 - UNSETTLED TIMES
February - Nigel Home resigns as MD and the Band are lucky enough to get 4 students from Bretton who temporarily share the conducting of the Band. They are Andrew Mavin, John Parkinson, Sue Allerton &: Cath Badrock.
June - Robert Jaggar, Soprano player with Sellers Engineering Band is Guest Soloist for the Summer Concert. Robert was a founder member of SYB, and this is the first time a former player has been invited back as a guest soloist.
Having conducted the summer concert Andrew Mavin also takes charge at the Royal Festival Hall, in the National Festival of Music For Youth.
September - Paul Long another founder member of the Band takes over as Musical Director.
